From July 12 to 14, He Junwen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of LULS, leads a delegation of 28 teachers and students to Suzhou in order to carry out research and study. Accompanied by lawyer Liu Qiang, Deputy Secretary General of the branch, they pay visits to enterprises founded by the alumni and have discussions with excellent alumni representatives.

On the morning of July 13, the teachers and students leave for Beijing W&H (Suzhou) Law Firm for visit and exchange. Liu Hanwen, Vice President of the branch and Director of Beijing W&H (Suzhou) Law Firm, gives them a detailed introduction on the economic development of the Yangtze River Delta, Suzhou's humanistic history, social development, personal career development prospects as well as the development of law firms. He points out that Suzhou enjoys broad development prospects and great development potential. Paying attention to cultivating professional talents, Beijing W&H (Suzhou) Law Firm is committed to building a broad platform for young lawyers. And he hopes that the students will attach importance to improving their professional competence, linguistic and analytical abilities. At the meeting, Sun Lei and Liu Qiang, representatives of alumni, as well as Li Sheng, representative of interns, share their experiences and insights around career development and practical skills improvement.

On the next day, they go to Changshu to visit Tsuway Smart Technology Co., Ltd.-an outstanding alumnus` enterprise. With the staff's introduction and personal observation of the exhibitions, they see the prospect and R&D process of liquid crystal technology patents. Besides, they learn about the current situation of patent protection and the specific application of intellectual property rights in the field of scientific and technological R&D.

In the afternoon, they leave for Shanghai Alshine (Suzhou) Law Firm to pay a visit and have a discussion. Zhang Zongluan, President of the Law Branch of Suzhou Alumni Association and Director of Shanghai Alshine (Suzhou) Law Firm, carefully tells the development and planning of the firm. He also introduces in detail the talent introduction policy of Suzhou and the preferential recruitment conditions of the firm for graduates from his alma mater-LZU. He is expected to receive more excellent students from LZU to come to Suzhou, in particular his firm for professional practice and employment. Liu Chuansheng, senior partner of the firm, and Du Wei share their study experiences at LZU and their business experiences. And then, Liu Yang, Director of the Intellectual Property Business Committee (IPBC) of the firm, and Yang Chuang, Deputy Director of the IPBC of the firm, carry out a 'micro lecture' on intellectual property on the basis of their personal experiences and practical experience in the field of intellectual property. After three-day visits and exchanges, the teachers and students express their sincere thanks to alumni for their thoughtful reception and supports. The students say that they have gained and benefit a lot during the visits, which further clarify and enhance their confidence in learning law, especially intellectual property rights. At the same time, through close contacts with outstanding alumni, they have felt the great achievements our nation has made since the reform and opening up.
