On May 4^th, 2021, guided by Copyright Protection Center of China, the third “New Era Youth Writing Activity of Copyright Power, sponsored by China Copyright, comes to an end. Wang Shaonan, a master degree candidate of law from LZU, wins the third prize for his paper Analysis of the Protective Pathways to Live Game Pictures (instructed by Professor Wang Yuan).

It is reported that this writing activity aims at showing the youth`s talent in copyright, so as to stimulate national innovation, and help them to be the main force in building Innovative China and Copyright Power. The writing activity has received more than 600 original articles from contestants from Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, East China University of Political Science and Law, Beijing Internet Court and Guangzhou Court of the Internet, etc. The contestants include excellent youth from various fields. Among them, the panel of judges finally selects 12 First Prizes, 20 Second Prizes and 40 Third Prizes.

Intellectual Property Law is an important branch of the Science of Law. LULS has, for a long time, attached importance to the talent cultivation in intellectual property, and encouraged postgraduates to participate in scientific researches to improve their scientific research ability. With the guidance of his instructor, Wang Shaonan has strengthened his professional studies and scientific research ability. And he has successively won the First-class Scholarship of Lanzhou University, Excellent Graduate Students and other honors. His winning the prize prove it fruitful that LULS has spare no efforts in talent cultivation and intellectual property disciplinary building.

The activity stimulates the students in LULS to study Intellectual Property Law, and attracts public attention upon the cause of intellectual property protection. We hope that more students will devote to various national legal theory and practice exchanges, so as to improve their legal literacy and academic capability.
