In order to promote the undergraduate enrollment of Lanzhou University (LZU), to propagandize its characteristics and advantages, and to attract higher-quality students, Lanzhou University Law School (LULS) goes to Guangxi to carry out undergraduate enrollment according to "5+" mode from July 23rd to August 1^st. It has been successfully carried out.

Firstly, “All Members+”, with both administrative staff and teachers and students being involved in the team, the enrollment goes on well. It helps to give full play of the professional teachers and administrative staff in helping students to have an in-depth knowledge in teaching, research and professional development of LZU. At the same time, the enrollment involves undergraduates of LZU to narrow the distance between local students and LZU, and to present real academic and social life in LZU for them. The enrollment is administrated by both the party and the government and both teachers and students participate in it. The team discuss and formulate an overall work plan on consultation sessions, routes, security measures, etc., to optimize the enrollment during the epidemic, and to improve its efficiency and accuracy. All the teachers, students and administrative staff actively participate in enrollment training. Fully understanding the related policies and information, they can provide local students and their parents with better consulting services.

Secondly, “Alumni+”, LULS gives full play to alumni to improve the enrollment.

The enrollment team to Guangxi gives full play to  alumni from Guangxi. With the support of the Guangxi Alumni Association of LZU, especially Branch of Law School, the team goes to Nanning, Liuzhou, Beihai and other regions to visit a number of provincial and municipal model high schools. It not only improves their work efficiency, but also popularizes LZU through demonstrating to the students our outstanding alumni in various fields and our high-quality talent cultivation.

Thirdly, "Online+", LULS expands the enrollment through multiple media platforms.

According to policies of epidemic prevention and control, the team establish enrollment WeChat groups and QQ groups to offer parents and students enrollment policies, historical background, discipline development, talent cultivation and basic information on campus life of Lanzhou University, and QAs. From July 24th to July 27th, they timely introduce undergraduate enrollment policies and basic information of LZU online through "live broadcast" and "car radio" etc., attracting more excellent students in a flexible and convenient way.

Fourthly, “Site+”, on-site enrollment helps to promote the consultation.

In order to further strengthen our communication with high schools in Guangxi, and to provide the students and their parents with more convenience in application filling and consultation, the team go to Nanning, Liuzhou, Laibin, Beihai, and Yulin, and Qinzhou in batches. They adopt various forms such as hotel consultation, school seminars, “Double First-class” universities on-site consultation, and listing of high-quality student bases, etc., to carry out enrollment. They successively hold five seminars, nine round-the-clock on-site consultations and seven high-quality student bases signing of the contract and listing. Meanwhile, we reach preliminary intentions for cooperation with Wuming High School and Qinzhou No. 1 Middle School, which effectively promotes the enrollment, and plays a role in attracting outstanding students and popularizing LZU.

Fifthly, “Customization+”, we provide customized service to form a long-term enrollment system in Guangxi.

The team carry out all-round enrollment through the latest enrollment brochures, postcards with LZU characteristics, and enrollment posters. Besides, with the help of related information and alumni`s introduction, the "one school, one policy" strategy provides more personalized publicity. Through communication and discussions with the principals and the heads of academic department of local high schools, the team analyze on our overall enrollment and our innovation under the new situation of College Entrance Examination, and introduces to LZU`s history and future plans, talent cultivation, professional status and campus life. At the same time, we actively take down the actual needs of those schools and their suggestions on enrollment. And we have discussions with many middle schools over the personalized enrollment measures based on the needs of LZU, so as to lead outstanding students to apply for LZU.

LULS successfully completes the enrollment during this year’s College Entrance Examination application filling, and produces excellent results. In order to promote a long-term and institutionalized enrollment and to improve the reputation of LZU, we will sum up our experience, innovate our methods and strategies, and strengthen team building.
