Recently, The Academic Affairs Office announced the results of Teaching Achievements Competition for the year 2019. The project finished by Professor Liu Guanghua and other co-partners has won the second prize, contributing to a positive effect on the teaching reforms and enhancing academic accomplishments.

The law school is one of the first batch of national bases for educating and training compound legal talents. The economic law major is a traditionally predominant discipline and ranked among the provincial key disciplines of Gansu High Institution in 1999. Under the leadership of Professor Liu Guanghua, the teaching research project of “Economic Law Innovation Exploration of Excellent Legal Talents Training version 2.0 In the Context of Globalization”, explores the innovation of economic legal talents training mode so as to closely meet the national strategy of legal talents training. By optimizing the curriculum system, improving the practical ability of legal personnel, strengthening the practical teaching, promoting the reform of teaching methods, it finally builds their practical skills. As such, it has received experts’ acclaims.

After two years’ continuous working, the project has succeeded in exploring an innovative  mode in economic law education. Through innovative education ideas, process and methods, it has effectively improved students’ practical ability, and provided strong support for the cultivation of applied and compound law talents.
