At the invitation of the Law School of Lanzhou University, Professor Chen Xiahong of China University of Politics and Law is coming to our college on June 1st, 2019 for academic exchanges and special academic lectures.

On Professor Chen Xiahong:

He is a Doctor of Law, Researcher of Center for Bankruptcy Law and Enterprise Restructuring of China University of Political Science and Law, Deputy editor-in-chief of Journal of China University of Political Science and Law, chief editor of 'Bankruptcy Law Express' and host of 'Experts on Bankruptcy Law' of the Knowledge Planet. Also he is member of the International Insolvency Association (INSOL) and the European Insolvency Association (INSOL Europe). Chen Xiahong is mainly engaged in bankruptcy law research in recent years. He compiles Letters of Bankruptcy Law, Bankruptcy Practitioners and Industry Autonomy (Series 1 of 'Frontier of Bankruptcy Practice'). Chen Xiahong was engaged in the research of legal personages in her early years. He is the author of Silhouettes of Chinese Lawyers in the Century (2006), Political and Legal History: People and Things You may not Know (2009), Adventures and Disruptions: Jiang Ping and His Age (2013), Strength of Character: Political and Legal Persons in the New and Old Ages (2016). He has assisted Professor Jiang Ping, a famous jurist, in completing his oral autobiography The Rise and Fall: Self-Descriptions of the past eighty years. In addition, he compiled Qian Duansheng's Collected Works (12 volumes),Waning Times: A Narration of Chinese Legal Scholars in the 20th Century, A Collection of Historical Materials on Revolutionary Achievements of 1911, and 7 volumes of Vision Translation Series were compiled.
