Yuhong Chai achieved LLM and PhD at Kobe University in Japan and worked as Research Fellow there from 2014 to 2015.
Dr. Chai works as Associate Professor and Master Supervisor in Law School of Lanzhou University now.
Dr. Chai is the Director of OBOR Legal Research and Service Center in Law School of Lanzhou University, a Member of China Arbitration Law Research Association, a Member of CNARB Arbitration Institute and a Member of the Academy for International Business Association in Japan.
Dr. Chai won the Japanese Government (MONBUKAGAKUSHO:MEXT) Scholarship, the Private Foreign Student Scholarship in Hyogo Prefecture in Japan and the Scholarship for Foreign Students of Financial Group in Japan for many times when he studied in Japan. His paper in Japanese 'The Current Situation of International Cooperation in the Civil Dispute Resolution' won the Second Prize for Excellent Academic Achievements of the China Society of Private International Law.
Dr. Chai devoted to conducting academic exchange activities by inviting famous scholars and legal practitioners from home and abroad to come to our school with the support of the leaders in Law School of Lanzhou University. In July 2015, the Law School of Lanzhou University and the Law Faculty of Kobe University in Japan established an exchange agreement with his active promotion.
In recent years, Dr. Chai participated in academic conferences at home and abroad actively. He gave keynote speeches on dispute resolution at the Annual Meeting of China Society of Private International Law, the Academic Conference of Japan International Business Association, the Conference of Yodoyabashi & Yamagami Legal Professional Corporation, the Conference of Law School of Shantou University, the Conference of Graduate School of International Social Sciences of Kobe University in Japan and the Conference of Law School of University of Hong Kong.
The Lanzhou University's Special Event of 2018 “China Arbitration Week” was successfully held with his active advocacy and promotion, which aroused extensive attention and was highly praised by people from all walks of life.
